Prayer Requests

1) For the remainder of the ride to go as smoothly as the first several weeks have gone.
2) Pray for safety as Bruce rides his bicycle on some busy highways and that the bikes themselves would be working well. Also for no more flats!
3) As always, be praying for the people of Mali and for the success of this effort. The biggest goal here is that a generous amount would be raised for the the hospital so that they can have all the space, staff and equipment that they need for the 150+ babies being born and treated each month.
4) Bruce is looking for a donation of frequent-flyer miles that would be transferrable to Delta, Northwest, or AirFrance Airlines. He is hoping that by doing it this way, it will detract from the cost of getting him to Mali for his ride from Bamako to Koutiala, Mali. If you are willing to make this, or part of this donation, please email him at baobiker@gmail.com. If not, please pray that someone will be willing and able to make a donation of this nature.

1) Many donations have been coming in and being made by people along the way. People have donated not only in funds but also in giving their time and services/resourses to support us in our effort.
2) Many thanks to those who have taken us to stay in their homes, who have used their businesses to get us out of the RV for a night, who have contacted their local news organizations to get the word out and who have stopped to listen to hear about the hospital and what we're trying to do. Our hope is that word spreads so that the best possible donation can be made for the hospital in Mali.
