The rider, Bruce Overstreet, is Pastor at North Country Alliance Church and has been since 1993. He is married with four children. He's always loved to ride his bike, and completed over 5,000 road-miles on his bicycle last riding season - March through October 2007.

He has been married to his wife, Sheryl, for 28 years. She recently completed her MST in Elementary Education and works with students with disabilities.
Their oldest son, Joshua, has recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Buisiness Management, and has joined the US Army. Josh is also a very good artist, and enjoys writing as well.
Their second son, Isaac, will be beginning his third year of college and is majoring in Music and Theology. Isaac is also an excellent musician and loves to play his guitar. Isaac is driving the RV for the trip.
Their daughter, Christina, will be a high school senior this fall, and plays bass guitar in a youth worship band at her church. Christina is also involved in the drama club at her school and enjoys music and photography.
Their fourth child, Jeremy, is going into 8th grade, and enjoys playing video games and reading. He also plays saxophone in the school band and, like Josh, enjoys drawing.
